Kim Shepard, MPH, CTRS, has worked as a recreational therapist within the Medicaid Waiver system for sevem years. Prior to that, she helped to start a sensory play center as well as worked as a life skills clinician. Before receiving her Master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, she had six years experience in the therapeutic camping industry, working at two different camps for individuals with disabilities. She is highly active in the disability advocacy community as a therapist, a family member, and a disabled individual.
