Christina J. Coleman, PhD, serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Arizona State University's School of Community Resources and Development, embodying ASU's dedication to inclusivity, innovation, and community impact. With 13 years of experience in the mental health sector, Christina integrates innovative therapeutic approaches to enhance individual well-being. Her research focuses on community-based leisure education and engagement, emphasizing social participation's benefits in health domains. Through teaching and mentorship, she inspires future practitioners, enriching lives and advancing the field of Recreational Therapy. Beyond academia, Christina finds balance in baking, outdoor exploration, and creative outlets, reflecting her commitment to personal fulfillment and professional excellence.
