Session Description
This session will discuss the use of university application limits for high school students as a tool to aid students and families in doing more thorough research before the application phase to find their best-fit HE options. We aim to discuss the rationale for creating such policies, the logistics (various examples of school application limits), along with exploring the potential negative consequences and impacts on various stakeholders. This will be an interactive session that facilitates discussion with participants to collect quantitative and qualitative data, and allows sharing of best practices in supporting student balance and wellbeing in the university research and decision-making process.
