2025 International ACAC Conference Sessions

The session aims to understand how students and counselors can approach disclosing extenuating circumstances such as disabilities or other challenges during the college application process from the perspectives of universities and career counsellors. We will examine the potential benefits and challenges faced by students who disclose the same including how it influences admissions decisions, accommodations, etc. Counsellors will share insights into how disclosure is handled within the application process, as well as best practices for supporting students in making informed choices. Universities will focus on how they view the disclosure within an application and larger context
