Universities are struggling with increasing application volumes and competition levels whilst counsellors are striving to manage student and parent expectations in an ever-demanding world that expects instant information and results.
A case study of key admissions challenges at the University of Edinburgh and Yale University with insights from Tanglin Trust School, Singapore, about managing expectations of applicants and their parents when applying to selective university programmes.
The session will include an open discussion where universities admissions staff and school counselling staff can discuss admissions challenges, share feedback and work towards sharing best practices to help create and shape enhanced applicant experiences in a selective admissions process.
