Session Summary

The Georgia Apex Program has provided multitiered mental health services to K-12 students since 2015. Its success is due largely to effective strategies such as strong provider-school partnerships and fully integrating clinicians in schools. Participants will learn about best practices, facilitators, and challenges to establishing and sustaining a thriving school-based mental health program. They will gain a clear understanding of the pivotal role school counselors and other staff play in successful implementation and positive outcomes.
