Student Focused (Individual Counseling, Mental Health, etc.)
Learn how a new statewide initiative is empowering students to take the lead in opioid and fentanyl prevention. This session highlights a peer-to-peer prevention model developed by CWC Alliance and Resilient Georgia that equips youth with the tools to educate their peers on the risks of substance use and the importance of mental health. Counselors will leave with actionable strategies and curriculum ideas for implementing this model in their own schools and communities.
