Don’t ask; Don’t tell, Don’t counsel. LGBTQ+ students are being harmed and erased by schools and society. How can we best equip our students? Counselors doing their jobs of supporting queer/ trans students are facing new challenges. This session is in three parts: What do we need to KNOW? What can we DO to equip students? HOW do we ethically engage while evaluating our personal/professional barriers. Come join the coalition of the willing.
