Session Summary
Black men are an underrepresented group at all levels in school counseling. They are often recruited to bridge equity gaps in the educationa profession across roles. The lives of Black male school counselors are in jeaopardy as they are metaphorically & literally being murdered in the school house. This presentation is designed to provide Black male school counselors practical strategies to preserve their lives while engaging in the war that is social justice.
