Vendor and publisher cooperation, discovery solution

Following this session, participants will learn how collaboration between discovery solution vendors and publishers can positively impact their library; learn how publishers can not only improve the discovery experience for the end-user, but also improve the library's ability to measure the return on its discovery investment

Growing interest in information provider and discovery service interactions has led several papers to link and compare e-resource usage in discovery solutions and publisher’s platforms. We will review the collaboration from the publisher’s and vendor’s perspectives and highlight benefits that libraries are seeing, and will see, from this ongoing work.
