Session Description
Join us for an immersive, behind-the-scenes tour of Morgan’s Wonderland, the world-renowned ultra-accessible theme park that has redefined what inclusion looks like in recreation, design, and community. This two-hour session provides participants with an in-depth overview of the mission, vision, and values that drive Morgan’s and showcases the cutting-edge universal design principles that make the park a global leader in accessibility.
As we walk the grounds of Morgan’s Wonderland and explore adjacent facilities like Morgan’s Inspiration Island and Morgan’s Sports, participants will see firsthand how thoughtful planning and inclusive innovation can eliminate barriers and foster meaningful participation for people of all ages and abilities.
This session is both educational and experiential, providing real-world examples of inclusive design in action while encouraging critical reflection on how these practices can be applied in other parks, public spaces, and community programs by recreational therapists.
