Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be better enabled to review acquisitions and licensing workflow management priorities, will have a better understanding of workflow management technology, will have some ideas about how to improve workflow training, and will gain a better understanding about how license negotiations can be tracked.

The Workflow DB is a tool to manage journals acquisitions and licensing workflow. While there are some tools with similar acquisitions management functionality available or under development, the Workflow DB also enables tracking specific license clauses under negotiation. This talk describes insights gained from developing the Workflow DB.
