Session Summary
Counselors are the heartbeat of every school. Who can we run to when we are exhausted, tired and worn out? This session will explore the critical role of self care for helping professionals as we dedicate our lives to supporting others; we often tend to neglect our own welll being, leading to burnout, compassion fatigue and emotional exhaustion. This presentation will provide evidence based strategies for sustainable self care addressing the unique challenges healers face.
