Flipping the classroom to teach English for Academic Purposes

Friday, May 8, 2015 at 9:30 AM–10:15 AM EDT
Middlesex East
Session Abstract

The flipped classroom approach to English language instruction is growing in popularity; however, very few published pedagogical materials exist. To help fill this gap, we will present materials for teaching academic English that we have developed and trialed. Attendees will leave with handouts of activities for teaching all four skills.
