Session Abstract
This presentation will highlight essential principles for using informational texts authentically with elementary ELLs. These principles have been implemented successfully in a summer program for ELL, low-income elementary children. Results will be shared from this summer program followed by a discussion how these principles can be applied to classroom teaching.
