This session provides an update on work conducted by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE) Office of English Language Acquisition and Academic Achievement (OELAA) development of the Commonwealth's guidance regarding Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education (SLIFE), specifically definition, identification and placement matters.
