This poster explores the use of the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure in Therapeutic Recreation within a Partial Hospitalization Program and analyzes data collected to further demonstrate evidence of positive outcomes.
1.) The audience will gain an increased understanding of the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure and its application to Partial Hospitalization Programs 2.) The audience of this poster will be able to identify how the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure can guide the selection of Therapeutic Recreation interventions within Partial Hospitalization Programs 3.) The audience will explore the use of the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure data for advocacy of patient outcomes and Therapeutic Recreation as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Madeline Honaker, CTRS, is a graduate from the University of Toledo, with a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. Madeline has experience working in physical rehabilitation and behavioral health with adults and pediatrics since 2018. In November of 2021, she joined the Clinical Therapies Department at Nationwide Children's Hospital in a full time position working on the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit and in the Partial Hospitalization Program.
CTRS
Allie Altman, CTRS, is a graduate from Ithaca College with Bachelor's of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. Allie has experience with pediatric pain rehabilitation and pediatric behavioral health since 2024. In April of 2025, she joined the Clinical Therapies Department at Nationwide Children's Hospital in a full time position working on the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units and transitioned to the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit and the Partial Hospitalization Program in August of 2025.
