Abstract

New to Data Visualization and not sure where to begin? This hands-on workshop is designed to help you take your first steps with confidence.
We'll start by introducing the core concepts and building blocks of Alma Analytics Data Visualization (DV), including workbooks, datasets, and data flows. Then we'll move from theory to practice with a live, step-by-step demonstration of how to create and format visualizations using data from subject areas.
This is a practical session, so bring your laptop and follow along! By the end of the workshop, you'll have created your own visualizations and gained a better understanding of how the different pieces of Data Visualization fit together.
No previous Data Visualization experience is required. Just make sure you have access to DV, bring your computer and your curiosity, and be ready to build!
