This is an interactive in-person workshop for Leganto users, facilitated by Jessie Donaghey and Kael Driscoll from the IGeLU Leganto Product Working Group.

The session is not intended to be an expert presentation, but rather an opportunity to network with Leganto colleagues from other institutions in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

The focus of the session will be on structured discussion of customer case studies, exploring two closely related themes: Instructor engagement and the Leganto AI Syllabus Assistant.

Both these themes are increasingly relevant in the current information environment and have been consistently raised in online discussions as areas of interest for the Leganto community.

The workshop will be structured along the following lines:

• Short and friendly warm-up activity as an introduction
• Small group discussion of hypothetical Leganto case studies
• Reporting back to the larger group of the main points discussed
• Further small group activities to share experiences related to the topics raised

Attendees are encouraged to come to the session ready to share their own experiences. Here are some example discussion questions that may be helpful to consider in advance:

• How does your institution support the use of Leganto by Instructors?
• What successes and challenges have you had with Leganto engagement?
• Are you expected to create lists on behalf of Instructors?
• Do you use the Syllabus Assistant, and why (or why not)?
• How do you manage issues such as ethics, accuracy, copyright, and workflows when using AI tools in the Leganto environment?

These questions are just intended as a starting point, and we encourage you to explore further.
