Abstract

The BIBSYS consortium has started using the new tool Library Open Workflows. In this presentation we will share examples of two use cases, one simple and one more advanced, where we have applied Library Open Workflows.

The simple use case: TBD

The advanced use case: The National Library of Norway wants to retrieve data from the music database Discogs to speed up the cataloguing of music in the Norwegian library catalogue. In this use case we demonstrate how we have implemented a workflow using Library Open Workflows. The goal is to go from a single Discogs reference to a complete bibliographic record for albums and tracks in a fully automated process.
