Abstract

In response to the rapid rise of artificial intelligence in higher education, this presentation explores the university's AI development environment and institutional policies, highlighting the library’s transition from a traditional support role to a strategic partner in digital transformation.

Key topics include AI literacy training for librarians, practical applications of AI tools in library services, and initiatives that support teaching and learning through AI-enhanced e-resources, exhibitions, lectures, and cross-campus collaborations. This talk also introduce innovative projects such as an AI assistant for library services, AI-assisted collection analysis, and the use of AI technologies in archival and historical exhibitions.

By sharing the practical experiences of the National Chengchi University (NCCU) Library, this session aims to provide global academic librarians with actionable insights on fostering AI literacy and creating new institutional value in the evolving AI era.
