Abstract
In this session, we will compare Alma Cloud Apps and Library Open Workflows, highlighting their different purposes, architectures, and use cases. By understanding when to use a Cloud App, when to use an Open Workflow, and how the two can work together.
We will explore how AI-driven "vibe coding" can accelerate the development of Alma Cloud Apps, enabling developers and librarians to quickly turn ideas into working applications with minimal coding effort. We will demonstrate how Cloud Apps interact with Alma services and examine how LibOW integrates with Cloud Apps to extend Alma workflows and connect with external systems.
