Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to better utilize inputs derived from discovery systems for determining which resources are making the most impact in their library to enhance their collection development practices.  Additionally, they will learn from their colleagues as to what techniques and workflows have been employed to improve libraries collections based on the successes of discovery in their library.

Abstract

As we better understand the outcomes of discovery services in libraries, we can begin to pinpoint these success stories.  This panel will present how usage reports from their discovery system has been able to drive the collection development process to enhance the process through data-driven decision making.
