Session Abstract
This interactive workshop provides participants with the opportunity to explore vocabulary as a place for courageous conversations around the Four Pillars of Social Justice for ELLs: cultural, identity, language and equity. Words carry sociocultural tensions that must be identified and addressed when using varied texts for diverse student populations.
