Abstract

The Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP) provides a single point of access to journal usage statistics reports for higher education libraries in the UK. This paper will outline how libraries are using JUSP to measure value and impact of their journal suscriptions and its implications for the wider community.

Learning Objectives

Understand the importance of monitoring and measuring usage to evaluate impact, recognise how evaluation has informed library purchasing and decision making processes, recognise the benefits of employing collaborative approaches to service development involving publishers and libraries
