Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to: identify how interlibrary loan staff across the country are handling and processing interlibrary loan (ILL) requests for electronic journal articles, describe the challenges in sharing electronic journal articles with other ILL sites, and identify services and software that can facilitate ejournal resource sharing.

Abstract

Based on questionnaire responses from interlibrary loan sites across the country, this presentation will report on the challenges of sharing electronic journal articles. It will also describe current software, services and programs that libraries are using to manage and fill these requests.
