How to increase SFX usage? CARLI experiments and observations

Over 50 libraries within the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) use CARLI-hosted instances of SFX. CARLI's SFX advisory committee and CARLI staff examined usage data across libraries to explore ways to increase requests and clickthroughs. This presentation will summarize results from encouraging libraries to customize the SFX button image and report any correlation we find between usage data and factors such as menu design, or differences in target activations among libraries with similar active sources.
