Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:15 AM–12:00 PM CDT
Elk Lake
Description

This presentation will describe the Orbis Cascade Alliance’s two year migration to shared management and discovery services using Alma and Primo. With a small central staff and deep commitment from the membership, the consortium’s 37 institutions teamed with Ex Libris to implement Alma and Primo and accomplish important development work, including the first use of the Alma Network Zone and the migration of consortial borrowing to Alma. Presenters (including the Executive Director and cataloging, consortium borrowing, and systems specialists from the consortium staff and Alliance member institutions) will provide a high level summary of the project work and lessons learned during this ambitious effort.
