The University of Minnesota implemented Alma in December 2013, but has continued to utilize the services of SFX. Maintaining two knowledge bases (KBs) is the tradeoff for continuing specific openURL functionality our users and library staff have come to expect. This presentation will cover our evaluative process, comparison of SFX and Alma knowledge bases, testing of the two resolvers and plans to accomplish a seamless (mostly) transition in July 2015.
