Getting Things Done in Primo at the Orbis-Cascade Alliance, a year later

Friday, May 8, 2015 at 12:15 PM–1:00 PM CDT
St. Croix II
Description

Everyone who uses Primo knows that coordinating and implementing changes such as normalization rules, usability testing, interface tweaks, and back office configurations is a challenge at the institution level. As of January 8, the Orbis Cascade Alliance is now fully live on Alma/Primo with 37 institutions sharing one installation. Many Primo decisions as well as troubleshooting is coordinated in some way or another across all 37 institutions, thus compounding the complexities of decision-making/implementation and requiring effective communication.

This panel discussion will focus on how Primo has been managed throughout the 18 month migration/implementation as well as the new team structure moving forward. Key personnel - both those who led throughout migration and those leading us into the future - will comprise the panel.
