VCU Libraries has been working with Ex Libris on a plug-in for NCIP communications between Alma and Illiad. Building on a codebase from Harvard and IDP, this plug-in for the Illiad client enables communication between the two systems for both borrowing and lending functions. In this presentation Tom McNulty will outline the changes made in the code to get things working with Alma, troubles encountered along the way and help with any questions people have about implementing the plug-in for their library.
