Missing Managed: Tracking Searches for Missing and Claimed Returned Items in Alma

For the past two years, staff at the University of Washington have been experimenting with ways to manage our Missing and Claimed Returned searches in Alma. Our goal has been to eliminate all external search tracking tools, including a database that facilitated searches between multiple libraries as well as individual staff member's paper and excel files. In this presentation I will share the many mechanisms we have explored, including the one that we have chosen as our preferred solution.
