There is a large amount of overlap between collections that are available for activation in the Alma Central Knowledge Base (CKB) and in the Primo Central Index (PCI).  In our experience with the Orbis Cascade Alliance implementation, libraries that are using both systems are often confused about which system to use for electronic resource profiling and are not fully aware of the access and discovery consequences of profiling in one system or the other  This session will provide an overview of the specific metadata that is published out of each system and will provide considerations and best practices for electronic resource profiling in these two systems.
