Voyager and the conversion of obsolete media formats

Description
Red River College (RRC) houses a large collection of media items in obsolete formats. An ambitious project has been launched aiming to convert such items into DVDs and/or streaming. We are using a number of applications to convert such items and make them available through our library catalogue and RRC's learning management system. Advanced features of the Cataloguing, OPAC and Media Management Voyager modules are an integral part of the project as well as their integration with the chosen media/video platform. An important consideration is the copyright implications of the conversion effort.
