Session Abstract

This workshop will share creative and practical ideas for using books such as Divergent and The Hunger Games in a tertiary ESL academic skills course. Attendees will leave the workshop with adaptable lesson plans, presentation ideas, themed-based units, essay prompts and research supporting the use of extensive reading for ESL.
