Flexibility in BIM

mardi 19 juillet 2011 à 10:45–11:00 CDT
Summary

The impact of early and late design decisions can be significantly mitigated provided the BIM, Design Systems, and processes are developed to accommodate both types.  Through continuous analysis of the Design, Construction, and Owner goals, a series of parameters can be built and used to drive the project.  The goal should be a system that easily accommodates change and absorbs the impact to schedule and budget by to encouraging dialog, and creating a continuous feedback loop into the design and fabrication process.
