Civil rights attorneys with over 35 years collective experience in the educational rights of English learner students and issues facing schools and families will review Federal policy and provide practical advice and guidance for ensuring equal educational opportunities for EL students. This session includes a review of the recently issued joint U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights Dear Colleague Letter (01/07/2015).
