Session Description

Students can save time, money, and energy by using the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) process. The presenter will share how recruitment, retention, and completion success has been helped by using a PLA process that provides one on one support to students. This session will include conversation about current PLA practices and discuss the alternative, targeted approach used at North Park University’s School of Adult Learning in working with adult degree completion students who use the PLA process.
