Session Description

The use of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for professional development has grown considerably. MOOCs can increase the relevancy and availability of training, while promoting collaboration and discussions among participants. Examples of how companies and associations are using MOOCs for professional development will be shared, and their benefits and challenges will be discussed. Lessons learned from the development, design, and delivery of two MOOCs for professional development will also be shared.
