Session Description

There is quite a buzz of mentoring going on; most organizations claim to or want to be doing it. However there is much confusion as to what mentoring is and what direction and support it needs to be successful. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the purpose, stages, and goals of a mentoring relationship, mentor roles and competencies, and what else should be covered in a well-founded mentor/mentee training program.

Brief Bio

Kevin is a professional management consultant active in the fields of strategic planning and change implementation, human resources development, and marketing as a management consultant for close to 30 years. He is also an instructor with the Sobey School of Business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His firm was retained by Continuing Education at Saint Mary’s University to design their Mentoring Fundamentals workshops which are the basis for this presentation.
