Learning Objectives

Attendees will be introduced to creative ways UNR staff has used SharePoint to create workflows and project tracking tools for Electronic Resource management, innovative usage of SharePoint for projects and tracking of cancellations, renewals, and new purchases. Benefits and drawbacks of working outside of the III ERM module will be discussed.

Abstract

When the ERM module didn't offer options for tracking the progress of a large cancellation project, UNR library staff turned to SharePoint lists to create a workflow for tracking progress and facilitating communication with other library personnel. Using this model, they created other workflows for tracking changes, renewals and new purchases.
