Workshop Description
Many bisexuals don’t join ERGs or BRGs, because they don’t understand how the ERG would benefit them or because they fear they wouldn’t be welcome. Bisexuals who are in other-sex relationships who do join the ERG may be misperceived as straight. Likewise, bisexuals in same-sex relationships may be misperceived as gay or lesbian. This workshop covers the basics about bisexual identity and community and explains how employers can better welcome bisexuals into their ERG's and in the workplace. Through an interactive exercise, we will then delve deeper into the unconscious biases bisexuals encounter in the workplace by , and provide tools for identifying the biases and eliminating them.
