Cross-Company Mentoring in the LGBTA Space and beyond
Workshop Description
Developing and implementing an LGBTA inclusion strategy can be daunting, so why not learn from other organizations that are leading the way? Members of the DFW LGBTA Mentoring Circle gather quarterly for cross-company mentoring roundtables and networking meetings. During the meetings, members share best practices, real-world experiences and advice, and ask questions focused on strengthening LGBTA inclusion efforts. Each organization brings a unique perspective based on their varying levels of D&I advancement and expertise. Participants include: American Airlines, AT&T, Celanese, EY, Game Stop, Group 2000 Media, Southwest Airlines along with the representatives from the HRC and Out & Equal regional affiliates. The panel will provide key takeaways from these meetings along with advice on how to start a mentoring circle in your area.
