Very short description for use in the program to help attendees understand more than a title can describe

This analysis makes two major contributions, clarifying the circumstances in which financial education leads to lasting financial knowledge. First, focusing solely on numeracy based financial knowledge is missing a critical component of the financial decision-making process. Exposing students to economic and financial concepts in high school helps individuals find the confidence and courage to follow through on their decision-making. Second, consistent prolonged exposure to the topics leads to higher knowledge levels. While this may seem obvious, most literacy programs are short-term, leaving the students ample time to forget. Individuals that work in the financial services sector have high knowledge levels.
