Climate Change and Retirement Success
Very short description for use in the program to help attendees understand more than a title can describe
This paper combines the thoughts of several authors to describe the migration of a retiree through the retirement phase of their life during a time of climate change. The work of Taleb, Bernstein, Frank, Nordhaus, and others is combined in an essay exploring possible effects of climate change on retirement success. Simulation analysis provides examples of the effects of a changing risk-return relationship on the probability of failure.
