Breakout 6 - Concurrent
Session Type

Concurrent - Includes content presentation and Q & A with audience

Session Description

If you build it, they will come. Colleges and universities with online offerings are increasingly building virtual open houses hoping their inquiries and applicants will come. This session will share lessons learned and tips from the experience of first-timers for building a university-wide virtual open house. From the foundation upward, virtual open houses rely on the collaborative efforts of many areas, departments and individuals. Attendees will leave with the information they need to pull together their campus resources, from beginning to implementation to debriefing so that they are able to construct an engaging and effective campus-wide open house.
