Workshop Description
Our social origin includes our beliefs and rationalizations that we use to view the world we live in. Unconscious Bias within the workplace is driven by a person’s social origin. Understanding and accepting our own social origin allows an individual the ability to improve their process of accepting and working with diversity. In this program we will openly discuss the social origins of the individuals in the room. This will be a safe place conversation where the attendees, the panel of experts, and moderators will share their personal understandings as defined by their social origins when dealing with LGBT individuals who are People of Color, Transgender, and/or Bisexual.
