Session Abstract
Poetry is often given a minor role in the ESL classroom, perhaps as relief from longer texts. We began using more poetry in our classrooms this year after reviewing research linking reading and writing poetry to reading fluency and writing achievement. We'll share classroom activities and student results with you.
