identify some of the challenges faced when transitioning an e-Resources position from a different position, develop and implement a plan they can utilize to meet those challenges, reframe how challenges can become opportunities with a plan in place

Abstract

This presentation will highlight many challenges a new librarian or hiring library will face when transitioning to an electronic resources position. Whether you’re dealing with legacy systems or absent workflows, we will discuss techniques for meeting those challenges head on and turning them into opportunities for continued success.
