Learning Objectives

Anticipate breakdowns that may occur while users use discovery systems to conduct reasearch, gain insight into students' perspectives of research tasks and the discovery process. 

Abstract

A group of librarians conducted a usability study to find out how users complete common research tasks using the library’s discovery system.  The methodology, results, and impacts of the study will be presented. The presenter will play audio and screen recordings from the study to provide examples.
